If your child is struggling with depression and/or anxiety you are not alone. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 ages 3-17 have a mental health disorder. It’s important to remember that improvement is possible, and treatment can help. Your child's PCP is here to help answer your questions and help you find treatment if necessary. If help is needed NOW: Call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room if your child is making suicidal threats or actions.

If your child is feeling suicidal but not in a crisis right now: Call or text 988. The Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in English and Spanish and is free and confidential.
